Possession (can be an enchantment or an item specific feature, only applied to swords)
- Enchantment version: each level adds 10 seconds that you can posses a mob
- item specific feature version : 10 seconds
Possession mechanic
Active:
Pressing RMB discards your current possessed entity if you have one and you gain knockback resistance over the cast time then teleports you 3 blocks forward
Upon arrival, your sword creates a blast that deals 13 damage to all nearby entities, you knockback all but one entity
The most wounded entity, alternatively the closest one, is not knocked back and instead takes the blow from your sword. they take of 0.5 seconds of slowness II.
Passive:
killing an entity within 3 seconds of using the "active" spawns a ghost from their copse that will last 8 seconds. You can attack the ghost to possess it, healing yourself for 4 hearts, then teleport to its location after winding up for 1 second, during which you are invulnerable.
Possession lasts for 10 seconds turning you into the entity you just killed. keeping health, inventory, appearance, abilities (ex: turning into a creeper enables you to blow up) and the ability to access their Ender Chest if they're a player. After 10 seconds their stuff falls to the ground and you return to normal.
notes: This idea is an endgame enchantment and with the addition of the warden and possibly more powerful mobs to be added in the future I can see this enchantment help players to be able to have a fighting chance against them.
