To tame a raccoon, you must feed it sweet berries. If added to the game they can behave like the fox as they are sneaky and like the ocelot, they are careful, they will only go near a player who is sneaking and not moving. Like the wolf they will protect their family (only if there are two or more raccoons and one is an adult). Something new that can be added is the raccoon can steal items from other mobs for example, a bone from a skeleton. If an untamed raccoon is near a player and the player has food in their inventory the raccoon will attempt to steal it and run off with the food item but if the player sees the raccoon before it steals any food items it will run away from the player. Raccoons are nocturnal they can see in the dark if tamed they can possibly give the player an audible warning about enemy mobs getting close. Since raccoons are nocturnal, they will sleep until night if in a safe area. Raccoons can break berry bushes. Raccoons may find a berry but only if tamed and at full health if tamed but hurt they will eat the berry to heal. Raccoons can climb over walls and fences.
