Many biomes rely on having too many trees to make it fun to traverse. Looking down on them just shows a surface made out of leaves, but it can be so much more than that:
There could be parts where trees are more sparce and spots where there are none. A way to diversify it even more would be to make simple shapes of tree populations. Imagine a spot in a forest where you're surrounded by trees but the middle area has way less, making it atmospheric and recognizable 🌳
