Bushes

Since there are dead bushes in deserts, why not have berry bushes (like in spruce forests) or regular bushes in plains and oak forests? Some of these bushes could even spawn in bigger clumps that make movement speed slower, and some animals like pigs or cows could try to go hide in said bushes when damaged. Any bushes placed in deserts could also turn into dead bushes after a while. Bushes could definetely add more variety and lushness to the overworld and maybe new armor like some sort of ghillie suit, though even i think thats stretching the idea a bit.
