Journey to new dimension with pluffy (baby dragon)

As after defeating Ender dragon we got dragon egg but it never hatch.So my thought starts from here,As we see a structure in ancient city which looks like a Portal so just imagine if we activate that portal with the help of flint and steel and side by side two blocks one needs dragon head and others sculk catalyst and after activating Portal we enter a new dimension every thing is ruined and have no more idea but like somewhere we put the egg and the soul of ender dragon comes to egg and it hatches and we get a baby dragon.( Also I think that dimension should be a soul world or something like
