    That is a good idea but might be useless to some players since we will be able to craft them soon but I love this idea

    Maybe the name tag item could show signs of wear and tear when dropped by a named mob. It won't be usable if damaged unless repaired with paper in a crafting table.

    Nametag duping with slimes.
