Greetings Mojang Team,
I’d love to suggest an expansion to Minecraft’s boss and mob system that deepens progression and long-term exploration.
It would be so exciting to see new bosses introduced across different biomes and dimensions! Each having unique mechanics, phases, and environmental interactions tied to the base game. Alongside them, harder regional mobs could spawn in those areas, acting as “guardians”. A hint a boss is nearby, rewarding players who take risks.
To make these encounters meaningful, each boss could drop exclusive item unobtainable elsewhere or rare; special weapons, smithing traits, enchanting, food, brewing, or crafting materials that can meaningfully change gameplay.
One feature that would feel especially rewarding is a Boss Relic Block. After defeating a boss, players could use its unique drop to craft a decorative, interactive Relic Block inspired by that boss. Ex: The Dragon Egg (currently an End Relic or a Dragon Egg Relic if made by a dragon egg). The block could emit particles, light, sound cues, or even subtle buffs. It could be crafted with a boss drop, gold and glowstone. serving as both a trophy and functional reward. If not craftable, something no short of a rare/mythical collectable like the Dragon Egg.
This system would encourage exploration, cooperative play, and base personalization while preserving Minecraft’s core value, creativity!
One last thing...bring back teasers? Randomly?
