Add More to Fishing

We should have a purpose to fish. While there are other motives to fishing such as, taming cats, fishing up items, and just having a reliable food source, there is ultimately nothing interesting nor fun about fishing. In Minecraft JAVA, fishing is time-consuming only because it serves little purpose and there is no function nor reason to make fishing fun. I often very much enjoy fishing in games however, fishing in Minecraft has been something I have avoided for a very long time or, rather than avoiding, more like forgetting about it completely. 

When there is a Fisher in a village (which I think should appear more often), maybe add a fishing box outside of their house where the Fisher takes the fish and, in return, gives items or other things. There could also be fishing quests given by the Fisher which gives a more fun and purposeful motive to fishing.
