For Java, a dedicated "Mods" tab could be helpful for many users with mods! Instead of having to delete mods you have installed through a modified installation (Fabric, Forge, etc), if the Minecraft Launcher detects that the installation being opened/played is modified, it will show the dedicated Mods tab. It displays all your active .jar file mods from your "mods" folder, similar to the Resource Packs tab. When disabling a mod, a text on the disabled mod will state "Restart For Changes To Apply" to ensure compatibility and prevent data loss.
