Rune Concept

I know this idea’s been said a few other times, but i think it truly could fit minecraft considering the armor trims. Runes are an item that can be found in many structures (Bastions, Nether fortresses, Ruined portals, Ocean monuments, etc.) and can be applied on armor using a runebinder. Runes would give certain abilities like for example a rune called, “Dragonheart Rune,” or, “Obsidianheart Rune,” would give you the ability to swim in lava and not take damage while walking over magma and fire, and other hot blocks. Some runes could be rare whilst others could be easy to find, as to not make them too overpowered. The runebinder could be crafted with things like redstone, diamonds, or anything that seems right.
