I’d like to suggest an optional control feature for Minecraft Bedrock called Motion Mode. It uses the device’s motion sensors to let players move and look around by physically tilting or rotating their device. This would make mobile gameplay more immersive and accessible while staying fully optional.
How it works:
• New Motion Mode toggle button in the top bar (left of Camera)
• F6 keyboard shortcut if a keyboard is connected
• Tilt forward/back/left/right to move
• Rotate device to look around
• Physically jump IRL to jump in-game
• Tap to break/place depending on held item, hunger and health, and item in your crosshair.
UI feedback:
• Button glow and ripple animation when enabled
• Toast messages: “Motion Mode Enabled/Disabled”
Why it helps:
• Adds a fun, immersive way to play
• Great for accessibility and alternative controls
• Uses sensors already built into mobile devices
• Fully optional and doesn’t replace existing controls
Motion Mode gives mobile players a fresh, intuitive way to explore and play Minecraft while remaining completely optional.
