minecraft has tons of variations usually seen in blocks. Most stone types have walls, like cobblestone deepslate andesite and others, but things like dark prismarine and prismarine bricks are missing one (even though regular prismarine has it) or how purper is missing it as well even though it has the other variations commonly seen. Quarts doesnt have a wall. Mud is missing a chisled varient even with having a brick varient, along with missing a smooth varient, smooth stone has no wall or stair. Tuff showed we can have chisled varients for the base one and the brick one which i think is a good idea that should be applied. Andesite diorite and granite are all missing chisled varients and brick varients. The classic complaint of no wall slabs or stairs for concrete or terracota. Many blocks are lacking cracked versions. No chisled red nether bricks. Basalt being another underground stone like material has none of the regular things like bricks or walls. Many stone types don't have buttons like stone and blackstone or deepslate do. No smooth endstone exist. Fixing even around 4-5 of these could lead to likely countless more bits of detail in all aspects of building.
