So people are now all talking about the instant shield break. While im not sure exactly why its happening i do believe it happens because the fall height buff is not reset if hitting a shield making subesequent hits still deal the durability damage of a mace hit at that fall height making the attack cooldown irrelevant for that scenario as long as you spam enough hits (and you know legit players wont be doing that atleast in regular scenarios).
So there are 2 ways to fix this either reset the fall height buff for hits to the shield fixing that bug only or reset fall height buff for swings with the mace still keeping the functionality, but not allowing spammed consequent mace hits to benefit from fall height on not shielded enemies (for example you both are falling and you get 2 mace hits due to still beeing withing reach for the 2nd most likely breach hit since the fall height would be way less)
