Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

new ore blocks should drop a few ores

blocks of 9 ore should Break apart and drop ore chunks even when mined with a lower tier so it's still obtainable.

And the ore blocks break into 9 ore when mined with the right tier or the drop the full ore block when mined with silk touch. But when mined with the lower tier Ore blocks should drop at least one ore chunk so it's obtainable even with lower tier to allow for more interesting progression.
