Elytra

Dear Mojang Studios Team, My name is ZombieGamma, and I would like to present an idea for a ground-based alternative to Elytra in Minecraft. I propose a Mythical Horse (final name can be chosen by your team). It would be summoned with a magical horn, have higher speed than a regular horse, jump higher, and require no saddle. If it dies, it can be resummoned from anywhere, but only one horse exists per horn. The artifact would be found in Woodland Mansions, reflecting its magical origin. The horse could have multiple coat variations. This mount provides compact, efficient ground mobility while preserving the spirit of exploration — players stay connected to terrain and don’t gain full aerial vision like with Elytra.
