Right now their fully black eyes make them look kind of… uncanny. Not cute, not neutral — just slightly off. Minecraft’s style is simple, yes, but even in Minecraft the small details matter. Eyes are one of the few expressive elements mobs have, so changing them that drastically between adult and baby versions feels inconsistent.
If adult mobs have white sclera, baby ones should too — just scaled down proportionally. It would keep visual coherence, make them feel more like actual younger versions instead of separate entities, and honestly make them cuter and more alive.
It’s a tiny texture tweak, but it would improve immersion a lot.
