Copper shield

No need to do much extra, just add a copper shield. Maybe it absorbs 75% that of an iron shield and has less durability. It would make copper such a far more usable material

  I think that by doing this copper would pretty much over take iron in most aspects of the game, the only item not affected is the compass. Yes there are more items like the mine cart or the loadstone, but I think that if they did have the copper shield it should have 30% of the durability of iron

  this would help getting into that first cave.....good idea!
