Minecart Rail System

I love playing Minecraft. I play the hardest difficulty on Survival. I have gathered enough resources to build a rail system to do mass-transport in the nether realm between portals. The issue I am running into is that the minecarts with the chest won't move smoothly. I keep bumping into them over and over again. I have accelerator rails spaced out. I plan to add more to attempt a smoother transport. Can you update the game to either create a train by linking minecarts together or stabilizing minecart movement with accelerator rails?
