The Mini Crossbow is a rare ranged weapon that cannot be crafted. It can only be found in chests at a Pillager Outpost with a very low spawn chance, making it a valuable exploration reward in Minecraft.

Compared to a normal crossbow, the Mini Crossbow reloads faster but deals slightly less damage and has shorter range. This makes it ideal for quick combat situations while keeping it balanced.

Its unique feature is the ability to fire small, round items instead of only arrows. Compatible projectiles include:

• Arrows

• Ender Pearls

• Snowballs

• Slime Balls

• Pebbles (new small item found on the ground)

When firing an Ender Pearl, it travels 50% farther than a normal throw and follows a straighter trajectory. This allows for more precise teleportation and improved mobility without being overpowered.

The Mini Crossbow rewards exploration, encourages creative combat strategies, and adds versatility to ranged gameplay while maintaining balance through reduced damage and range.
