Feedback related to the trident!

For being such a rare and unique weapon, the trident has been reduced to nothing but a once in a while movement item. As such I believe it deserves a buff, for it to be atleast comparable to a sword,axe,mace or spear. My first suggestion would be to substantially increase the damage with Channeling, make the a Riptide charge ignore armor/scale in some way etc. For being the 2nd rarest weapon in the game, it is quite underpowered especially when its not raining, so I think the buffs would be very fair.
