Add to the game a green wood variant

The game has almost every imaginable wood variant, except a green one. The only similar thing is bamboo logs without being stripped but I'd say it's a stretch. I think a wood variant that crafts into green planks and a whole family of green wood blocks would be a nice addition in Minecraft because nothing comes close and it would be a good way to introduce something brand new and creative, similar to the crimson and wrapped woods.
