I would love to see a Volcanic Biome added to the Overworld that feels like a natural, surface-level counterpart to the Nether. This biome could include active volcano terrain, basalt cliffs, lava rivers, ash-covered ground, and charred forests.
Instead of snow, the biome could feature ashfall weather that lightly covers blocks and reduces visibility during storms. Charred trees could introduce a new dark wood type (Charwood/Emberwood) that is fire-resistant but balanced for survival gameplay.
New features could include an Ash Golem crafted from ash blocks that throws blinding ash projectiles and helps clear ash layers near bases. Farming would be more difficult outdoors due to ash buildup, encouraging greenhouse or underground farming systems.
Additional resources like Ruby Ore or volcanic minerals could provide unique crafting options and rewards for exploring dangerous volcanic regions. The goal is a high-risk, high-reward biome that adds new building styles, survival challenges, and immersive environmental storytelling while staying true to vanilla gameplay.
