I propose adding a new type of Golem called the Diamond Archer Golem, designed as a defensive, ranged unit for villages and player bases. This Golem is stationary, placed strategically on towers or walls, and attacks hostile mobs with a bow. Its damage and accuracy are identical to a standard Skeleton, but its range is significantly increased to make up for its immobility. After each shot, it enters a 5-minute cooldown during which it cannot fire. To fire immediately, the player must manually provide it with arrows, adding a tactical layer to its use.
Construction: 1 Diamond Block + 1 Pumpkin, making it a mid-to-late-game defensive option. It has 20–25 HP, does not burn in sunlight, and only targets hostile mobs, leaving players and villagers unharmed. By being stationary and resource-dependent, it provides strategic, situational defense without trivializing raids or early-game survival challenges.
This feature fills a defensive gap between Snow Golems and Iron Golems, enhances village defense, encourages tactical gameplay, and aligns with Minecraft’s core design principles.
