Switch Piston: New Redstone Block Addition

Dear Mojang, 

Every day around the world, millions of minecrafters waste time on complicated redstone, but it doesn't have to be that way. I am writing to you because I think there should be a new block added to Minecraft. that would be called the switch piston. The switch piston is a piston that a player can toggle. There are many reasons the switch piston should be added to Minecraft.

First of all, the switch piston would make short duration activators easier to use. The player would not have to create a “discharge signal” when using activators such as buttons. A discharge signal is where a redstone torch holds a piston in closed position and the player has to use another charge to open it. The reason it would be easier is because a normal redstone signal closes a piston door. If, however, the switch piston was added, the piston door would open instead. By adding the switch piston, it  would make piston doors easier and faster to make.

Secondly, the switch piston would inspire so much creativity into the minecraft community. It would help make new doors, new traps, and new redstone machines.This would add a whole new aspect to the game. The player would basically be able to move blocks! it would be exactly the new redstone component the Minecraft community is looking for.

In conclusion, the addition of the switch piston would be welcomed by millions of minecraft players around the world. This would provide more inspiration and creativity throughout the game.
