The Ice Age Update – New Cold Biomes, Mobs & Survival Mechanics

This update adds immersive Ice Age-themed mobs, new biomes, and realistic cold survival features to Minecraft.

• New mobs: Tameable baby Woolly Mammoths (rideable when grown), Arctic Wolves (stronger and wear Armadillo Scute armor), Saber-toothed Cats (stealth predators), and charming Penguins.

• Special drops: Mammoth Tusks craft the Frostbreaker weapon, which freezes mobs for 30 seconds with a cooldown; Saber-toothed Cats drop Frost Fangs, which provide rare frozen fish.

• Cold survival: Players must wear Mammoth Hide clothing layered under existing armor (crafted via the smithing table) to resist freezing in cold biomes. Without this, players gradually lose health from cold exposure.

• New fish: Icefish, Frost Salmon, and Glacier Trout diversify fishing in icy waters.

• Suggest splitting the update into two parts for a balanced, smooth rollout.
