Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Electric torches

A kind of torch that you can set up as a normal torch, with the same light level, texture of the top layer, but the stalk will look irony themed. It can be activated or deactivate whether there is a redstone output or not. The crafting recipe includes Redstone, Coal, and iron. This will help a lot of people beacause we can maintain light levels with the addition of redstone to it. Thanks Mojang!
