Hello Minecraft Team,
I would like to share feedback and suggestions regarding The End dimension. It has been many years since The End received a major update, and compared to the Overworld and the Nether, it feels empty and underdeveloped. While the End is meant to be mysterious, there is currently very little to do once players defeat the Ender Dragon and explore a few End Cities.
One suggestion is to add a new End-exclusive mob. This mob could spawn on End islands or near End Cities and use unique abilities such as teleportation, levitation, or void-based attacks. It could drop rare items used for End-themed crafting, enchantments, or new blocks. This would make End exploration more dangerous and rewarding, even after the Dragon is defeated.
Another idea is to expand or improve End Cities. New room types, stronger enemies, rare loot, or even a mini-boss guarding special chests could make each End City feel unique. Adding more End-themed blocks would also improve building and creativity.
The End is the final dimension players reach, yet it currently has less content than the Nether, which received a major update. Updating The End would improve late-game gameplay, increase replay ability, and make all dimensions feel equally important.
These changes could be added gradually, similar to the Nether Update, starting with new mobs and blocks and expanding over time.
Thank you for your time and for continuing to improve Minecraft.
Sincerely,
A Minecraft Player
