Idea: Solving the Ancient City & End Portal travel issues
The Problems:

Ancient Cities lack incentives for players with maxed gear
- Living far from spawn is atm inconvenient because Strongholds are too far away for frequent trips to the End.
The Solution:
The large portal found in the Ancient cities becomes a functional gateway.

Activation: Requires defeating the ender Dragon and using a Nether Star (or a new End item).

Mechanic: It acts as an indirect link to the end as a "Limbo dimension": instead of an instant teleport (like netherportal), you enter a small, Deep drak themed pocket dimension. You take damage over time here, so its strictly for travel, not for hanging around.

Making sounds destabilises the rift, dealing heavy void damage or ejecting the player. Inside the dimension, a void separates you from the exit. While bridging is technically possible, placing blocks creates vibrations that trigger environmental damage or knockback. This high-risk mechanic makes a Ender Pearl throw the safer option.
- If multiple Ancient Cities are activated, the intermediate void can function as a fast Travelhub between them, encouraging exploration of more deep darks across the map.
- To keep Ancient City loot valuable in the long run, traversing the portal should require consuming Echo Shards as fuel, giving players a reason to keep exploring new cities. Portal is also only activated when there is a warden around.
