The outer islands of the End should feature a new rare biome called the Firefly Fens. This area is covered in Weeping End-Moss, a block that grows on the underside of islands. This biome introduces End-Fireflies—large, purple-tinted, glowing ambient mobs that make navigating the dark void much more atmospheric.
New Flora and Building Materials In these fens, players can find Void-Willows. The wood is a new translucent type with a slight "glint" effect. The leaves drop Shimmer-Silk, which can be crafted into a Glider’s Sail. This allows players to slow their fall and steer better during the early game before they find an Elytra.
Gravity Vents and Movement The terrain should include Gravity Vents, natural craters that emit a low-frequency hum. Standing in a vent grants a temporary "Low Gravity" status for high-jump parkour between islands. Players can also use a glass bottle on a vent to collect Bottled Gravity, which is used to brew Potions of Weightlessness—perfect for building tall structures or escaping a fall into the void.
The Goal The goal is to turn the End into a place where players want to build and survive. By adding fireflies, unique wood, and gravity-based movement, the End becomes a dimension of wonder that stays true to its mysterious roots.
