"why did I come up with the idea": Hi, for a while now I've been playing with a bug in my single-player world. This bug lets me return home no matter where I am. This bug works when I leave an ender pearl floating on water that has soul sand underneath. Then I leave a trapdoor nearby with a pressure plate. I throw a fishing line onto the pressure plate, and finally, I go through the Nether portal. When I do this, the bug occurs, allowing me to return to wherever I left the pearl! Now, in multiplayer, this doesn't work, so I came up with the following
"the idea in question": Create a fishing line combined with an ender pearl or an enchantment. The idea is that this enchantment allows you to cast the line regardless of the line's length, since with the enchantment, the line will be a bright light without a line. I'd like that when you pull the line, if it's not in the water, it takes you to where you left the ender pearl. That would be great because you could go wherever you left the line. This idea is useful for PvP because... You could disappear in front of them without them knowing where you are, adding a ninja dynamic and rapid transport in the face of danger.
Extra:This enchantment could also grant the ability to fish in the End Void if you're interested, along with a new range of Void fauna like fish or some new enemies, but I'll leave that up to you. I just wanted to throw this idea out there. c:
