Mooshrooms should not turn into Cows when Sheared

Its something small, but could the Mooshroom not turn into a Cow when sheared? Mushrooms are like a fruit, not the brain. Fantasy logic is that the mushrooms have formed a symbiotic mycelium colony in the Cow, since its body changes color and it produces mushroom stew. If you cut off the mushrooms, the mycelium would still be inside the cow, and it would just grow more mushrooms. Plus, in my opinion, it would make the mooshroom more special because it would be purely fantasy and its own being.

    I agree with this, it can also prevent your friend ruining your mooshrooms by shearing them haha. Maybe shearing them can remove only the mushrooms on top of the cow and like sheep they would grow it back overtime.
