Vertical slabs would allow players to build thinner walls while using different materials or colors on the inside and outside of a structure.
This feature would make it possible to create more realistic houses and interiors without using full blocks. Vertical slabs would be half-block wide and placeable on the left or right side of a block space, similar to how stairs or trapdoors can be oriented.
They would not replace normal blocks but instead work as a building option focused on decoration and creativity. This would be especially useful for compact builds, detailed interiors, and builders who want exterior and interior walls to look different while keeping the classic Minecraft style.
Vertical slabs would use existing materials and follow the same durability rules as their base blocks, so they would not affect gameplay balance.
