The following ideas will state some potential features that would improve Minecraft underwater exploration systems and make it easier to mine.
-Add more bubble columns or air pockets. Sure, you can brew underwater breathing potions , but those are rather annoying because of having to go the a nether fortress, especially for early game player. What if instead, more natural spawning bubble columns appeared out in the open ocean? This would make exploring easier.
-Add a flipper item. Dropped from tropical fish, and can come in many colors, this item fills your boot slot in your armor menu and allows you to swim faster underwater but has no out of water use (maybe same armor use as copper.)
-Make more underwater structures. The 3 we have so far are cool, but I generally only go looking for shipwrecks because of the difficulty of the underwater temple. What if there was a similar structure to that, but it had lots of air pockets and was more themed around parts of a lost underwater civilization? Such as a small prismerine house or mini temple with unique loot.
