The loon could be a new mob for a future fall update of this year or in the future. Loons can be found in rivers in Taiga biomes, Snowy Taigas, Ice spikes, and Sometimes in Kelp forest. Loons are Neutral and will only attack when attacked or if you get too close to their eggs. Loons are the main food source of foxes but loons do fight back, and so do the foxes. When killed loons will drop nothing so there is no use to killing it, but also loons will shed a new feather called a loon feather that can be used to craft a new armor by surrounding leather armor with loon feathers to create the spotted chestplate which gives you water breathing for 15 seconds and gives you slow falling but the downside is that it gives you slowness on land since loons are very clumsy on land. Loons aren't flightless they can actually fly and swim very well but they are as I said very clumsy on land. When breed with any kind of fish besides pufferfish loons will lay 1 to 4 eggs and they will always lay their eggs near water since they are bad at walking, but don't get to close to the eggs because the loons will attack you doing 1 to 1 1/2 hearts of damage but they only have the same amount of health as a chicken. Loons might not look frightening but their sounds are, it can scare new players checking to see danger only to see a loon. I feel like loons would be a cool addition to the next fall update.
