Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The Copper Hopper Idea

 

You know the Hopper? It's really useful, but it can't transfer items up, so what if mojang added another use for copper, the Copper Hopper! It would work exactly the same except it's hit box and visuals are upside-down and it can't transfer items down but can transfer them up, though sence it's made of Copper, it would oxidize and the more it oxidized the slower it becomes, but it would be waxable with honeycomb and unoxidizeable with an axe like all other copper blocks.
