Non stop water absorbing blocks apart from sponges.

Water absorbing blocks are needed in Minecraft. I know there are sponges but they must be dried after each use. I’m talking about a block which continually absorbs water without having the need to be dried. Continuously drying or clearing water is a problem in underwater homes. It can also be a block which dries wet sponges when a sponge is placed next to, below or on top of it. Please take this matter seriously.
