Let Sniffers dig out Golden dandelions

Not only would that give sniffers more of a use but also if could have another accessible but an less expansive way of getting Golden dandelion

    Alternative Variant: Instead of having the Sniffer dig up a new item (Golden Dandelion or Golden Dandelion Seeds), Torchflowers or Pitcher Plants could have that purpose, giving them too further functionality.

    It would make so much sense that the one ancient flower-diging mob to be the one giving the player the eternal flower of youth

    The fact that mojang continues to add mobs that serve next to no purpose, all while adding items that would fit perfectly with previously added features continues to astound me.

    This!! The Sniffer currently has no practical use, so this would be a perfect way to incorporate it better into the game. I think the golden dandelion is cute, but I'd like to see it be something to find and work for instead of craft, especially with so many other items becoming craftable (saddles, leads, etc.). It feels like we're slowly losing the magic and excitement of finding non-craftable items (and reasons to explore).

    what if only baby sniffers dig them up to indicate the golden dandelion is related to baby mobs somehow? my instinct upon a baby sniffer digging up a new flower is to try and use it on it. id notice it stays a baby forever and try using it on other baby mobs

    Sniffer eggs would have to be added to super flat worlds somehow if this were done, but otherwise, I agree.

    ABSOLUTELY! MORE DETAILS HERE:

    Make it not craftable, that way its very rare only obtainable by the sniffer, as it is a prehistoric mob that digs up legendary flowers. For SUPERFLAT USERS: The wandering trader can have a VERY small chance of selling a sniffer egg for a lot of emeralds. PROBLEM SOLVED!

    Right now, the Golden Dandelion is just a crafting recipe, I think this is great and should be kept as a feature. But I think it would be much more "Minecrafty" if it were also one of the Ancient Seeds that the Sniffer finds. This would give the Sniffer a much more practical, long-term use for players. As someone with a large Sniffer farm in my survival world, I currently have more decorative plants than I know what to do with. Making these seeds farmable through the Sniffer would turn them into a valuable "livestock" mob and reward players who put in the effort to maintain large populations.

    This is brilliant! This would make me want to explore more, so that I can get the dandelion. I would prefer if Sniffers were the only way to obtain the Golden Dandelions, if not, I wouldn't have a reason to explore to find a Sniffer.

    I do not think so because Sniffer is ancient mob so there is not any connection among Sniffer and Golden Dandelions, the most suitable mob for do this task is Moobloom.
