idea is to motivate people to fight more dynamically with shields, using them with skill and not just holding button down all the time danger is anywhere nearby, yet keeping it easy and not over complicated
implement timing cycle for shield (similarly as spear has), with visual feedback
-raising shield, short moment before shield starts to absorb damage, it moves into position
-full efficiency, time when shield blocks 100% damage, it is fully up as currently in game
-less efficient, time shield blocks only part of melee and all ranged damage, shield is lower or shakes
-recharge time, after shield was lowered, by either timer of it being raised being done or player lowering it himself, short time before it can be used again, shorter than axe disabling it
additionally there could be implemented things as shield bash, if shield would be lowered willingly shortly after taking hit, shield bash would be performed, knocking back mobs in front of player in short radios, with no or only very little of actual damage done
shield raised timer could shorten when it would absorb damage, to motivate players attack it even if it would also give shielded player opportunity to strike back'
more material tiers of shields and enchantments could be added, having and altering different stats, like shield bash power, how long shield can be held up or how quickly it gets recovered
