I suggest improving the world generation by adding realistic waterfalls of different sizes. Currently, water flow is very basic, and adding dedicated waterfall mechanics would make mountains and forests much more beautiful.
1. Giant Waterfalls:
Generation: Rare, massive vertical drops found in High Peaks and Shattered Savanna biomes.
Visuals: At the bottom of a giant waterfall, there should be "Water Mist" (particle effects) and white foam.
Sound: A loud, roaring sound that increases as you get closer.
Features: Hidden "Water Caves" could generate behind the curtain of water, containing rare loot or ores.
2. Small and Tiered Waterfalls:
Generation: Found in Jungles, Taigas, and the new Mixed Forests. These would look like "cascades" — water stepping down several blocks.
Visuals: Small splashes and mossy rocks (Mossy Cobblestone) generating naturally around the edges.
Interaction: In these areas, rare plants like Nettles or Algae could grow more frequently.
3. New Mechanics:
Mist Particles: New particles that appear only near fast-falling water.
Rainbows: A rare visual effect that can appear near giant waterfalls during sunny weather after rain.
Why add this?
It would make the exploration of mountains and rivers much more rewarding. It also provides players with beautiful natural landmarks for building their bases.
