Currently, Foxes are only found in Taiga biomes. I suggest expanding their habitat to include Standard Forests, Flower Forests, and Birch Forests. This would make these common biomes feel much more realistic and vibrant.
1. New Biome Variants:
Forest Fox: A classic orange fox that spawns in regular Oak and Dark Oak forests.
Birch Fox: A slightly lighter, sandier-colored variant to blend in with Birch trees.
Snow Fox: Remains exclusive to Snowy Taiga.
2. Improved AI and Behavior:
Village Scavenging: Foxes in standard forests should be more likely to "visit" nearby villages at night to steal crops or chickens, making them a playful nuisance for players.
Sleeping Habits: Foxes should be found curled up under large oak trees or in bushes during the day in all forest types, not just Taiga.
3. Interaction with Other Mobs:
Competition: Foxes in forests could compete with Wildcats or Wolves for small prey like Rabbits.
Forest Benefits: Players who live in standard forests would finally have a chance to "befriend" foxes without traveling thousands of blocks to find a Taiga biome.
4. Why this change?
The Fox is one of the most beloved mobs in the game, but it feels too restricted. Since foxes are highly adaptable animals in real life, they should be a staple of all Minecraft woodland environments.
