I propose adding Coffee to Minecraft. Most people only know the drink, but coffee grows as a bright red berry (cherry) with a sweet, edible pulp. This would add a new farming cycle and a unique beverage to the game.
Key Features:
Growth: Coffee grows as a small bush in Mountain or Jungle biomes. It has glossy green leaves and bright red berries.
The Fruit (Coffee Cherry): You can eat the raw coffee berry! It restores 1 hunger point and represents the sweet pulp.
Processing: When you eat or process the berry, you get Green Coffee Beans (the seeds).
Crafting the Drink:
Roasting: Put Green Coffee Beans in a furnace or smoker to get Roasted Coffee Beans.
Brewing: Combine a Glass Bottle, Water, and Roasted Coffee Beans in a crafting table (or brewing stand) to create Coffee.
The Drink: Coffee restores a small amount of hunger and, unlike potions, can be drunk quickly. It’s the perfect companion for long night mines or builds!
Why it’s great:
It introduces a realistic multi-step food process. It’s educational (shows that coffee is a fruit) and adds a cozy new item that players have been asking for for years.
