A recent change causes a “press any button to play” screen to appear in Bedrock single-player worlds after being inactive, which effectively stops the world from running. It’s frustrating that this is being applied to long-running worlds, as late-game survival has always relied on AFK mechanics like farms, smelting, and passive resource generation. Removing the ability to AFK without warning changes how established worlds are played and breaks systems players have spent a long time building. This behaviour should not be forced onto existing worlds, and there should at least be an option or toggle so players can choose how their world behaves.
