In a seemingly dark and hostile dimension, we add a completely new layer (get it) to the game. First of all, the new dimension can be accessed ONLY in an ancient city. Another thing, it can't be lit with any flint and steel, a new loot item (always spawns at the ancient city) will be used to light the portal. This will add a special way to get to the dimension, similar to how the nether and end have been different as well. Next, we will enter the dimension and see it is not filled with wardens, but sculk and darkness to give it a more dark vibe. No shriekers or sculk sensors EVERYWHERE, but there will be structures among the dimension that generate shriekers and sculk sensors. This biome won't be just another walk in the park, it's meant to be filled with sculk right? Sculk spreads by death, and death means Absolutely. No. Noise. This dimension will have eery music in the background, and that's about it. If you want to hear the block noises and the danger around you, you'll have to get the custom enchantment that comes with the dimension update! Isn't that fun? Anyways, you can find the enchantment books in chests in structures located around the dimension, and they will be pretty much as common as villages in the over world (See what I'm going at?). This dimension is necessary for the Minecraft community to learn about what happened in the deep dark, and why there's so many death-ridden villages in this dimension.
