Maybe Fletching Table don't really have to do with Arrows and Bows.
But instead it could keep their principle : the long range aspect.
Then, when crafting on a Fletching Table :
- The UI of the recipe book is always open and on "Showing Craftable",
- The Fletching Table can read the content of nearby chests to propose more craftable recipes than the ones possible with the player's inventory alone,
- Quantity of items to craft could be changed with buttons (+/- and All),
- And when crafting, if the player don't have enough slots in their inventory, it fills the empty slots of the nearest chests with the crafted items.
The Fletching Table can reach chests (and barrels, and probably shulker boxes) that are in an area of 15x3x15, with the Fletching Table in the middle. Limiting the y range could be important to keep filter items in filter chests that are above for example.
