Special Compact Elevator System

Can you make a special block system for elevators? I beg you, please. I'm having trouble when trying to make an elevator with regular redstone, because an elevator with a regular redstone system will take up a lot of space while the available space in my build is not enough so it won't fit. I'm making a city project in minecraf java, and there are many skyscrapers with hundreds of floors that need elevators, I pay attention to the interior. I'm now very dependent on the elevator mod that doesn't update at the same time as minecraft updates. If I forget to backup my world, then the elevator mod blocks that I have installed in my skyscrapers will disappear, turning into air blocks. I'm forced to wait for the mod update, reinstall the mod, and reinstall the lost elevator mod blocks. From  time to time my skyscrapers continue to grow. I'm very confused if the same thing happens again while the number of skyscrapers I have is already dozens. Using this backup method is very vulnerable.
