Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Clay Tablets for an ancient alternative of Book and Quills

I personnally use books to write the lore of my world, but sometimes I feel like a book is too much : the books often feel too "new world" for an ancient type of build like a temple.

I thought it would be interesting to have the option to craft a clay tablet with clay/brick and wax, like ancient egypt where they would pour wax on small tablets and carve the writing with a small stylus. The clay tablet would only show a single page to write on, this would make them useful for short writings like poems or coordinates or names and still make books useful for bigger stories.
