When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Transistors

Specifically BJT (Bipolar Junction Transistors) That way you can use it as a switching mechanism in Redstone circuits. This will allow for the creation of logic gates, therefore allowing for the creation of flip flops. This will also allow for the creation of more compact registers, counters, and static RAM. So redstone circuits can be smaller and more simple, or larger and more complex.

Oh also maybe a switch on the transistor to change it to and from a NPN (negative-positive-negative) or PNP (positive-negative-positive) bipolar junction transistor.
