Armour Trim powers

In Minecraft, armour trims are pretty useless, so I realised, why don't we make different ores give buffs when applied as an armour trim to armour. Copper trims could give better protection against ocean enemies, Iron could give faster mining speed, Lapis could make you get more exp from exp orbs, Redstone could make you a walking electrical conductor, Diamonds would amplify the damage dealt to everything, and Netherite could remove all knockback, give night vision, or be able to instantly destroy blocks.
