Minecraft needs a proper food and farming update.

I’ve wanted better food options for years. Imagine farms full of lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, onions, rice, cotton (I know you cant eat cotton) etc, etc. Not just wheat, carrots, and potatoes. Pigs could drop bacon or it could be crafted from porkchops on a cutting board. Sandwiches made with bread, meat, and veggies could give higher saturation. We could have burgers, pizza, cheese, improved soups, and flavored cakes, we already have cakes and cocoa beans; mix them together. Cotton could be used to craft string or wool, giving players plant-based alternatives, it could be a new farm for the Redstone Farmers of mc. A richer farming and food system would make survival more rewarding, immersive, and beautiful. I’ve been waiting over a decade for a food update like this PLLLLZZZZZ!
