Mount Speed Indication

It would be amazing if something was added, an enchantment, an item, etc., that shows how fast a rideable mob is. Preferably before you mount it, as that way you don't have to interact with the animal in a way that would make it persistent. I don't want to kill mobs I've already tamed to reduce lag, but still improve the speed of the rideable mobs I keep
